this weekend was pretty much a tiring one for me. had to attend the official flag handling ceremony at punggol. it was an honour though to have Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to officially kickstart our campaign. Saturday had to turn up for the rehearsals which lame i guess. Got the team singapore jacket(winter jacket that is), hp, and t-shirts. Last night was really an exhausting one. It was a wet wet Sunday and had to go to punggol at about 2pm. Reach there about 3pm and did some rehearsals and did nothing after that till 6.30pm.The turnout was good though despite the heavy rain pouring down. To remember the Team Singapore pledge was crazy. "In the name of all competitors, i promise that we shall take part in the world cyber games 2005, respecting and abiding to the rules which govern them, in the true spirit sportsmanship, for the glory of sports and the honour of our country". When the PM came the whole arena was packed with media people and reporters. after the whole thing was over had to go to hanan's place to return her book(thx once again) b4 i finally got home at about 9.45pm to buka!
i'm back again i guess..yes N level is over like finally. next up WCG Grand Final. Gonna be in team singapore which is gonna be fun i guess.
wow...it has beena stressful week for me. N level and World Cyber Games. But i actually managed to get through both of them succesfully. N level was kinda easy to be honest.
Mother tongue has got to be the topic of the day. Everywhere i go today i hear ppl talking about mother tongue. Firstly, it was my prelim. MT paper 1 and Listening Compre which i manage to do it easily for the first time. Next was the O level mother tongue result, have to congrats several ppl though for getting a1 and a2(ain,shamir,ama,rina,roslee & shaq). Mother tongue is a boring subject honestly. can hardly get a1 anymore since i left primary school. in fact all my kuzzins are having the same problem. we just kept getting C grades for mother tongue. i honestly wouldnt mind if mother tongue still used the primary school format ; susun ayat, sambung ayat, penjodoh bilangan and whatsoever.
